How to use this research guide.
The following is a research guide to help you and your reading group see the real and publicly available sources I reviewed and studied over the past two years as I drafted THE PRICE OF A ROSE. Every ARC reader was provided with this information when they read, and reviewed the book. Although this story is a work of fiction, many of the challenges Rose faces feel uncomfortably real because they are loosely inspired by real events.
THE PRICE OF A ROSE is broken into four Acts; thus, this research guide is also broken into four Acts. Since the research guide contains spoilers, this format will allow you to consult the guide while you read while minimizing the risk of hitting a spoiler. Use the Pulldown menu at the top of the screen to navigate to each Act.
